Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. said Wednesday it will recall 13,157 diesel cars manufactured between Nov. 13 and Dec. 4, 2010, to inspect a defective auto part. The recall will include 4,505 units of sedan Swift Dzire, 6,841 units of the Swift hatchback and 1,811 units of the Ritz small car, Maruti said.
Maruti will inspect a connecting rod bolt in all these cars and its dealers will contact the owners. "If the connecting rod bolt is found defective, the company will replace the component free of cost...
