The new D8 GT has wing-doors and is powered by an Audi 1.8 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine which comes in various states of tuning from 180 to 270 hp horsepower. In comparison with the open D8 version, major changes have been done so that the D8 GT can be seen as a totally new car. The D8 GT comes with larger air intakes for better aerodynamics plus carbon fiber roof and doors to reduce weight. It rides on 17" light weight wheels while stopping power is provided by specially developed Tarox brakes loaded with new 6 piston alloy callipers and the larger 300mm discs....Donkervoort will make only 50 DB GTs per year with each unit priced at 90,000 euro.
